IT
Services
supports the use F-Secure anti-virus software. F-Secure is freely
available to all departments and members of staff at the University of
Malta. Members of staff are also entitled to install F-Secure on their
home computer systems.
- F-Secure is available
for:

- Windows 95/98/Me
- Windows NT/2000 Pro
- Windows XP
- Windows Vista
- Members of staff may obtain the
latest version of FSAV by downloading it from the IT Services FTP site.

CDs are also available for five-day loan from IT Services
Reception.
- Note that F-Secure upgrades are released every 6-12
months. Information about F-Secure upgrades is made available on IT

- F-Secure releases new anti-virus updates on a
regular basis. Information on updating F-Secure definitions is
available here.
